Samsung completes its range of bars Galaxy Tab. Models 7 and 10.1 inches, the manufacturer adds two versions (8.9 and 10.1 inches) of only 8.6 millimeters thick.Samsung also unveiled its TouchWiz user interface for tablet UX.
As suggested by the invitation sent to press in early March, Samsung took advantage of the CTIA convention in Orlando to make an announcement in the field of product shelves. The presentation of a 8.9-inch version of the Galaxy and Tabwas expected.But the manufacturer has finally unveiled two new models to its range Galaxy Tab:So a 8.9 inch, and a second in 10.1. This however, should not be confused with the tablet of the same size made by Samsung at the Mobile World Congress.
First tablets consistent with TouchWiz UX
These two new Galaxy Tab are well described by the manufacturer as the finestbars in the market. But a title claimed by the Apple iPad 2 with 8.8 mm thick. TheGalaxy Tab latest generation, however, are better with 8.6 millimeters. Apart from this feature, these tablets show the same specifications as the 10.1 inch model of the Mobile World Congress: dual-core processor, two cameras (2megapixel and 3), 1080p HD video, touch screen WXGA (1280x800) and Android 3.0 Honeycomb. But Samsung has also benefited from the CTIA to showcase its new TouchWizinterface UX. Owners of Samsung mobile will know this overlay manufacturer.Samsung is now on the shelf.
Prices remain an unknown
TouchWiz UX will not, however comes with the tablets in their commercial launch.Indeed, the manufacturer announced that the interface will be completed later andaccessible via a software update (at an unspecified date).
The newInternet Tablet is expected this summer edition Wi-Fi and HSPA + (21Mbps).Editions of LTE and WiMax are announced. However, their release will occur later this year.The prices announced by Samsung allow it to remain competitive with the iPad 2.The Galaxy Tab 8.9 inch Wi-Fi will be sold 469 dollars (16 GB) and 569 dollars(32 GB). Prices for the 10.1 inch (Wi-Fi) are respectively 499 and 599 dollars (for16 and 32 GB).
